The challenge
For an immigration practice, the website has to help prospective clients identify the relevant service, understand what support is available and find trustworthy contact information. Search competition includes local practices, national firms and high-authority information websites.
What we delivered
Website design and development
Octaoop Digital developed the website around the practice, its service categories, its Bolton location and clear enquiry routes.
Google Business Profile and local presence
The project included Google Business Profile setup and ongoing local-profile activity designed to strengthen the practice’s discoverability for relevant local searches.
Search-focused content and on-page SEO
Content and optimisation work covered high-intent service themes including spouse and partner visas, ILR, British citizenship, visitor visas, student visas and immigration advice in Bolton.
Off-page visibility
Work also included off-page SEO and local business-information consistency to support broader search visibility.
Measured search performance
In a matched 90-day year-over-year UK Google Search Console comparison, clicks increased from 28 to 85 (+203.6%) and impressions increased from 2,193 to 8,741 (+298.6%). Average position improved from 47.00 to 33.58, while CTR moved from 1.28% to 0.97%.
The latest consecutive six-month comparison was flatter for clicks, so this case study treats the 90-day comparison as evidence of increased search exposure rather than claiming continuous growth or attributing enquiries, revenue or immigration outcomes to search activity.
What the project demonstrates
This engagement combines website delivery, service-led content, local search setup and off-page execution for a professional-services business where accuracy, trust and discoverability matter.
