CASE STUDY

Shah Driving School

Local SEO, content and search visibility for a Bolton driving school.

The challenge

Shah Driving School operates in a competitive local market where learners need to find the right lesson type, understand prices, assess instructors and move confidently toward an enquiry. The work required more than publishing content: search visibility, local relevance, website structure and the enquiry journey all had to support the same commercial goal.

What we worked on

Technical and on-page SEO

Work included site auditing, keyword-to-URL mapping, commercial landing-page optimisation, indexing investigations, internal-link improvements and sitemap review.

Search-led content and local relevance

Content and page work covered lesson types, pricing, test preparation, manual and automatic driving topics and Bolton-area search intent, with clearer routes from useful information to commercial service pages.

Google Business Profile and reputation

The campaign also included Google Business Profile activity and responses to genuine learner feedback, with emphasis on accurate local business information and trustworthy instructor-level detail.

External visibility

Local citation maintenance, relevant listings, outreach and backlink coordination formed part of the recorded work.

Measured search performance

In UK-filtered Google Search Console data, organic clicks increased from 1,907 to 2,791 (+46.4%) and search impressions increased from 341,349 to 900,242 (+163.7%) across two consecutive 180-day periods ending 11 October 2026.

For transparency, click-through rate declined from 0.56% to 0.31% and average position moved from 10.12 to 12.61 in the same comparison. These figures demonstrate increased UK search reach and clicks; they are not a claim of booking or revenue growth and do not prove that every ranking improved.

What the project demonstrates

The engagement shows how local SEO, content, business-profile work and conversion planning can be managed as connected parts of the same customer journey rather than isolated marketing tasks.
